SAB 2019 Institut de Neurociències
Albert Giralt was selected as a representative young PI for the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) 2019 in the Insitut de Neurociències de la Universitat de Barcelona. The scientific committee was composed by professors Ernest Arenas (Karolinska Insitut, Sweden), Frédérec Saudou (Insitute of Neurosciences, Grenoble, France), Mercedes Atienza (Universidad de Pablo Olavide, Spain) and Kimmo Alho (University of Helsinki, Finland). Great success of the event!

An event to put in the things-to-do list! Albert Giralt will organize the next symposium called "CELL TYPE DIVERSITY IN THE HIPPOCAMPUS AND ITS ROLE IN HEALTH AND DISEASE" in the 18th national meeting of the spanish society for neuroscience. Santiago de Compostela (Spain). 4-6 September 2019.

Albert Giralt won the Young Investigator Award 2012 (CIBERNED, Madrid. Spain) for his work in synaptic plasticity alterations in Huntignton's disease.
